30/6/2021 My Sisters birthday
On Sunday this week, it was my sister's birthday. She was turning 10 and there were lots of people that came to celebrate her birthday. She wanted to go and eat at Genghis Khan in Henderson. When we arrived at the restaurant everyone was excited. We paid for the food and the table, including the cutlery. We sat down at the table and waited for the cake to come. When the cake came we put candles on it and after my sister blew out the candles we sang the birthday song. After that we prayed and blessed the food and everyone that was there. Getting out of our chairs, we walked to where the plates were and each person started to serve themselves. After we got our food we started eating. We talked about what we would do next for my sisters birthday and told jokes.
Hi Adonijah.
ReplyDeleteYou made we want to go eat at Genghis Khan once we come out of lockdown. I enjoyed reading your journal piece because it mirrors a similar experience to my own. When my family and I celebrate birthdays we love to eat, dance and tell alot of jokes. "Sometimes, the jokes hurt" Tofiga laughing Samoans.
Keep blogging. I'll be back to read and celebrate your awesome achievements.
